As an Integrative Counsellor I am trained to use a number of different therapeutic modalities and theories such as Psychodynamic, Attachment, Person-centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis (TA) and Gestalt. All approaches can be tailored to meet your needs, personality and preferences.
Individual Counselling
If you are new to counselling making this decision to seek professional help may feel scary however, be reassured this is a normal response. The first step is to contact me via email to arrange an initial free 20 minute chat to discuss the issues you would like to explore and how I can support you. Then we can arrange a suitable date to meet in person or online. Please note this first session is an opportunity for both of us to see if we can work well together. If you decide to work with me we will have periodic reviews to make sure your needs are being met.
If you are returning to counselling it will be helpful to understand what your previous experience of counselling was like, what did or didn’t work for you so we can establish how best I can support you.
I am able to offer you in person or online counselling either weekly or fortnightly. All sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £60.
Couples Counselling
If you are new to couples counselling making this decision together is important as this will require both willingness and participation. The first step is to contact me via email to arrange an initial session with both of you to discuss the issues you are facing and if I can support you. Then we can arrange a suitable date for us to meet regularly. I will review periodically to make sure both needs and expectations are being met.
I am able to offer in person weekly counselling for this. All sessions are 90 minutes long and cost £90.
Walk & Talk Therapy
Research informs us of the many health benefits of walking in nature. If you find it easier to talk being amongst nature then walk and talk therapy may be more beneficial for you.
My practice backs onto fields and woodlands that are surrounded by beautiful views over the Surrey Hills, where I am able to offer you a 50 minute walk to help you process your thoughts and emotions. The cost is £60.
